The Book of Ezra During the reconstruction of the temple at Jerusalem, the children of Israel are blessed by the prophesying of Haggai and Zechariah the prophets. The reconstruction of the temple was done with the blessing and support of the Babylonian empire. Next study the prophesying of Haggai and Zechariah that was designed to […]
Outline: Establish the symbolism of Light. Christ is the Light God said, let there be light. Acquiring light is the purpose of our existence. (This is the personal application). It is hard to understand why there would be a need for a Restoration without understanding prophets and dispensations, and the effects of Apostasy. The Story […]
Helaman 5 I tried reading verses 9 to 11 with my family this morning, but they were tuned out. There is more to be internalized through study before I can in love give this knowledge to my children.

Prepare juice to share with the children. Read Pres. Smith’s story about giving lemonade to the workers. Point out how kindness is the power that God has given us to change hearts. I’ve done a search for the term “meek” on my main Book of Mormon study blog this morning. I am surprised by how connected to the work of the Lord in the last days are the meek. Christ was possessor of two great attributes: meekness and lowliness of heart — no pride, no arrogance here.
My morning’s study has produced the result of a strong reminder of my faith in Christ. My studies went from Mosiah 15:1 to President Monson’s January 2012 First Presidency Message to the lyrics of “I Believe in Christ”. The experience has been gratifying and reassuring.
